In the warm evening glow a brace of Hawker Harts gently pull up over the coastal village of Instow.
Biplanes have an ethereal beauty, and Hawker Harts are one of the most beautiful. These Harts are in the livery of 57 squadron. I flew Victor tankers on 57 squadron so this has a certain affiliation with me as one day the aircraft in the foreground visited us at RAF Marham.
The Hawker Hart was a pre-second world war aircraft and parts of the Hurricane design was based on it.
